Laird Hamilton stops by Tarsan for "Laird's StandUp Wednesdays"
Redondo Beach, CA – The worlds’ best waterman, Laird Hamilton, visited Tarsan Stand-Up Paddle shop in Redondo Beach today for the “Laird's StandUp Wednesdays” event in Redondo Beach. Laird Hamilton was joined by champion paddleboarder and storeowner Gene “Tarsan” Smith.
Laird Hamilton spent time greeting fans and the staff, as well as helping youngsters learn the basics of paddleboarding. Laird helped a young girl maneuver around on her first time on a paddleboard.
Lairds’ company, Laird StandUp, has a wide variety of board designs and paddles for the weekend enthusiast to the competitive professional athlete. Attendees to the event were able to try their skills on a number of different board designs offered by Laird StandUp.
